Learn Quick are already experienced with teaching English using the world renowned “Callan Method” and are now pleased to be able to offer you a range of German language courses. We have incorporated many of the techniques and principles learned from teaching the “Callan Method” into our own German courses, which allows us to teach German four times faster than other available methods.

Our direct method is centred on quick fire question and answer work, which means, the teacher asks the students at random a series of pre learned questions and the students then must without hesitation answer using as many words as possible. This ensures that the student is constantly involved in actively listening and speaking German and therefore learns at the maximum level possible.  The student will speak for almost the entire lesson; in fact they will speak 40% more than in comparison with other methods. This is very important, as the best way to learn a new language is to get plenty of practice by constantly speaking it. The Method has been designed for a wide range of students from eight to eighty years old.

With the “German Direct” Method you literally become a baby once more and you will learn German in exactly the same way as you learnt your mother tongue, by listening, speaking then reading and writing. The German grammar is often taught with this method after the student has become naturally familiar with its use in conversation rather than baffling them with the technical details beforehand. 
By the end of book four our students would have learned approximately 5,500 of the most common German words and the necessary grammar to use them in the correct manner. Therefore, it will be possible to communicate a broad spectrum of topics in detail with spontaneously and fluently with native German speakers. The “Direct German” method language courses can be used to prepare students for the “ÖSD - Mittelstufe Deutsch – B2” (Common European Framework of Reference).
